1999

4 February

The band was crea­ted when Gennady Birenberg and Haim Nazarovsky came to Beit-Dany for the first time.

Se­ve­ral mu­si­ci­ans join­ed the band: Platon (bass), Michael Krol (guitar), Igor Khait (key­boards), Oleg (drums). Michael gave a name Abrahms Family to the band. Soon Platon left the band and Haim be­came a bassist in­stead of him. Also Oleg was re­placed by Amit Argash.

 

17 June

On 17th of July 1999 the band played at their first concert.

In summer Sergey Zenkin became band’s technician.

The band had been performing in town’s small youth-clubs and other places in Petaẖ-Tikva.
Few times Amit Argash left the band and came back again, being replaced by Nimrod Sasson and other drummers.

2000

 

In the early years Abrahms had a constant no-constant-drummer problem.
In 2000 the band attempted to record their songs for the first time. The records were made in Beit-Dany.

 

6 April

The band played in a fest with other local bands; they warmed up the Yehudim band.

 

8 August

Abrahms made their first concert outside Petaẖ-Tikva (in Old Jaffa).

 

16 June

The band made their first video clip and first studio record.

 

19 September

The first constant drummer — Stas Barsky — joined the band.

2001

14 June

The Rematch gig which showed that Abrahms are obviously the best band in town.

 

17 December

A concert the band did was shown on local TV-channel.

2002

26 January

Stas was replaced by Omri Plotnik.

 

14 March

First gig with Plotnik (“The Green concert”) at Beit-Dany’s roof.

2003

 

In 2003 Abrahms started to search for a place they could play regularly, both in order to have a constant stage and maybe to earn money.
At the beginning of the year they found a place called Underground II. It gave them a stage (but not money) and soon was closed.

In August Abrahms recorded a song and tried to pass the record to EMI.

 

10 October

The band started to play on Fridays in a pub called Infinity. They earned some money and some acting-on-stage experience.

2004

 

Abrahms stopped to work in Infinity near the beginning of the year.

 

1 February

This site was created.

 

8 July

First independent gig. Abrahms decided to make their own gig, by managing everything around the event. They took a hall on lease (Eshkol Pais), made an advertisement (posters, flyers etc.) and made a huge setlist.

2005

 

The band made many combined gigs with other bands, which brought more audience.

 

9 September

Kursik festival.

2006

 

In 2006 Abrahms continued to give a main priority to the shows.

 

18 May

Rock-Star festival.

 

6 June

A concert at Espada pub. Abrahms had intentionally made a gig on date 6/6/6.

 

11 August

AriHell festival.

2007

21 August

A concert at Sublime pub.

 

11 October

A concert at Krepost pub (last gig with Michael Krol).

2008

 

Year 2008 brought many changes.

 

23 January

Michael Krol left the band.

   

In February Abrahms found another guitarist — Kfir Peretz, who took part in three gigs and later left too.

 

12 April

Fresh III festival.

 

14 July

Stas Sergienko joined the band.

 

24 October

Haim Nazarovsky quit the band, and replaced by Sasha Mescheriakov.

2009

5 February

Live 10 gig, the first gig with Stas.

 

3 July

Recording of Love, which also became a soundtrack for a video-clip.

 

3 October

After the gig at Motorock club Abrahms concentrated on the recordings and the composing and stopped to perform (until summer 2010).

2010

 

In 2010 the band recorded their début album in Beit Dany.

 

5 August

A gig at Founders’ Square.

2011

25 February

The first album was released and was presented on a gig at Sublime club.

   

After the album release Sasha Mescheriakov left the band and was replaced by Itamar Levy.

   

Abrahms started to write material for the next album.

2012

March

Itamar left the band.

 

May

Alexy joined the band.
